My client spent half his time in France so I was responsible for the management of his home in London. I also:

• Booked travel including flights, car hire, Eurotunnel and taxis
• Managed post, book contractors for maintenance issues
• Organised housekeeping and staff, coordinated deliveries, purchased household items
• Created quarterly and half yearly invoices for various Trusts
• Helped with family matters

Extremely busy and varied role where no two days were the same and constant challenges lay ahead. Responsibilities included:

• Managing financial information, paying invoices, dealing with expenses, extensive Filing
• Managing employees including gardeners, cleaners, builders
• Extensive diary management

I was the sole administrator for two offices in Fulham and Parsons Green. My main responsibilities included:

• Managing the Estate Craft database
• Updating the website and window displays
• Uploading property details onto LCD screens using PowerPoint, 
• Creating property brochures 
• Organising monthly advertising and editorials for five London property magazines including. 

I also provided IT and system support to all staff, registered and matched applicants to properties, communicated with vendors and applicants on a regular basis and regularly helped out with Saturday viewings.

Property managed a large family home and looked after the financial affairs of a family who were travelling for one year.  The role involved:

Property Management

• Appointing Local Estate Agents to find suitable tenants for one year
• Co-ordinating viewings and accompanying prospective tenants when needed
• Negotiating rental fees on behalf of Client
• Hiring removal and storage companies, inventory clerk, cleaners for new tenancy
• Keyholding for alarm company
• Dealing with any problems the tenants may encounter
• Booking contractors in to carry out maintenance work when required
• Paying contractors invoices upon receipt and updating Client

Administrative / Financial

• Managing post (all post was re-directed to my address)
• Paying monthly credit card bills and updating financial spreadsheet 
• Ordering Christmas presents for friends and family 
• Creating and managing a filing system of post received over the course of the year
• Renewing memberships

I joined this estate agent as a PA in a very busy period and soon became Office Manager. I highlighted the importance of using a database, which was in place but not being used, to vastly improve the smooth and efficient running of the office. Once the system was in place, the office ran far better. All sales processes were documented and recorded, reports were produced and this in turn reduced the amount of paperwork. Vendors were given regular and accurate feedback and applicants received a higher level of attention through automated emails of new instructions which fitting their requirements. My responsibilities included the following:

• Managing Reapit – Database for estate agency
• Producing all sales letters
• Registering and matching applicants to properties and setting up viewings
• Producing direct marketing letters targeting potential clients
• Creating sales particulars and window cards using an online ordering site
• Initiating a new style of brochure which substantially reduced costs
• Archiving properties and providing comparables (I set this system up when I joined)
• Settling the accounts at the end of each month using nominal codes for each invoice

I worked as a Stewardess in the South of France on private boats.

Worked in New Jersey before travelling the West Coast backpacking.
